2003 Acacia Ridge Shiraz
The 2003 Shiraz was hand picked and warm fermented. The resultant wine has been pressed and aged in American oak for 15 months prior to bottling. It shows characters of warm spice and black pepper for which this variety is famous. It is deep red in colour with spice on the nose while the palate is elegant and defined.
Colour: Bright, dark deep red purple.
Aroma: Lifted, clean raspberry/cranberry fruit, spice and subtle oak.
Palate: Clean sweet fruit with very fine tannin and good balance.
General:A fresh and fruit dominant style with drive, classy.
