tasting notes
colour - a vibrant magenta with intense hues and sparkling clarity
nose - perfume of violets with spice, pepper, blackberries and a background aroma of vanilla
palate - a soft and supple style of wine with fresh fruit driven flavours and a textured palate complemented by fine-grained, ripe tannins.
vintage conditions the growing season started with good rains and a cool start to summer. This resulted in a build up of flavour and depth of intensity to the wine
