Hi all, my name is Stephen Dobson and i am the owner and winemaker at Eastview Estate which is a small vineyard/winery situated in Kentucky, New England, N.S.W, for those who don't know where Kentucky is. It is situated in the middle of a triangle defined by Armidale, Tamworth and Walcha. The vineyard is just over a kilometer above sea level. We currently have planted Pinot-Noir, Tempranillo, Shiraz and Merlot, we are currently building trellis to go into whites next year, we will plant Viognier, Sauvignon-Blanc and Verdehlo. All grape handling is manually done. and we use open top fermentation and flextanks for aging with nadalie french oak staves. This year will be our first vintage, as we are not long planted. I dont know what else to add so I will leave it at that, please feel free to ask if you want to know any more, I will try to up-load some photos in time.
