Cabernet Sauvignon 80%, Merlot 20%

Vintage: There was an ideal growing season leading up to the 2004 vintage, with average temperatures and rainfall in winter and spring. Cool and dry conditions during January promoted slow ripening conditions, which continued despite warmer weather in February and March. The fruit produced during this long vintage was of very high quality.

Winemaking: The bright crimson colour is supported with a complex aroma of blackberry, cherry and mulberry with the promise of chocolate and mint as well as developed cedar, earth and spicy overtones.

The palate has supple mouth feel, with elegance and great length while delivering a balance between the intense Cabernet, the softer Merlot fine tannins and the integrated oak.

Wine Analysis: Alc./Vol.14.1%, pH: 3.40, TA 6.6 g/l. Res. sugar 1.2 g/l
