Default The Coterie

The Coterie

Background

The Collett family’s firm belief in the natural partnership of fine wines and good food led them to build the Woodstock Coterie in 1988 as an adjunct to Woodstock Winery.
The name “Coterie”, meaning “a circle of people gathered to share a common interest”, reflects the main purpose of the building ... to cater for private functions, such as wedding receptions, parties or seminars. Woodstock Coterie is also open for lunch seven days per week.

The Setting

The Coterie is part of the Woodstock Winery & Coterie complex with its rich golden earth walls combined with natural timbers and expansive glassed areas, it overlooks the native shrubs and flowers under a canopy of tall gum trees.

Menus are designed and wonderful dishes are created using fresh, seasonal and local produce as the foundation. The abundance of marvelous produce from the orchards, dairies, farms and sea provides not only delights for the Coterie cuisine but also product for the range of preserves, jams and relishes which are made at Woodstock.

Live music is often featured on Sundays, and local artists work is also displayed, adding another dimension to your time at Woodstock.
Special Events, Receptions
The Coterie with its unique split level, semi circle design, offers an ideal setting for any special event, from cocktail parties in the courtyard to wedding receptions of up to 200 people.

Woodstock chefs personally design menus to individual requirements to ensure your function is memorable.

The Coterie may be booked for exclusive use (subject to minimum numbers) of both the downstairs and mezzanine inside areas, the paved courtyard, verandahs and extensive native gardens (catering for wedding ceremonies in the gardens).

Surrounded by a host of century old gum trees which tower over the Coterie and its courtyard, and a backdrop of the vineyards, Woodstock offers a peaceful ambience of natural beauty for any occasion.

Arrange a visit to experience all Woodstock has to offer!

Casual Dining

Woodstock reflects the Collett Family’s commitment to creating and preserving the best flavours in superior value wines and food. With this in mind, the Woodstock chefs carefully choose and prepare fresh regional produce to proudly offer generous serves.

Woodstock Coterie serves a-la-carte menus for lunch 7 days a week all year round (excluding Christmas day).

Woodstock’s fine turkey liver and Muscat pate is served with a regional platter for two available every day. An ideal light lunch to share when a full restaurant meal is not needed.
