	The Cabernets 2005 This wine is a blend of our estate grown cabernet sauvignon and cabernet franc wines, made from grapes that were harvested in the long mild summer of 2005. Each of the wines was matured in French and American oak barrels prior to final blending The blend was given increased complexity by the addition of small quantities of merlot and petit verdot. This classical combination has produced a beautifully balanced dry wine with blackberry and raspberry flavours together with overtones of herbs and mint. This unique wine is a trophy winner and can be enjoyed now or cellared for up to 5-7 years.
