	2005 Estate Merlot While merlot is often blended with other red wines, this merlot is a single varietal wine from the excellent 2005 vintage. The wine exhibits the real merlot characteristics - rich plummy dark berry fruit flavour - and has a generous, fleshy fruit palate with a subtle tannin structure. Perfect drinking now, and will reward careful cellaring for up to five years. Our Merlot is a great companion to lamb and poultry dishes, and combines beautifully with softer cheeses.
